Give members two ways to check in
Display the meeting QR code for people using their phones, and keep the written code available for someone who cannot scan it. Meeting check-in is available during the scheduled meeting. A club-joining QR code and a meeting-attendance QR code serve different purposes: joining gives someone membership; checking in records their presence at a particular meeting.
Keep the record attached to the right person
Members sign in with their own accounts before checking in. Student information already supplied for that club is reused, so a member does not need to type their student ID again at every meeting. Before checking in on a shared device, confirm that the signed-in account is yours.
Look back after the meeting ends
Authorized officers can open Attendance records for past meetings. Attendance contributes to the member’s semester record, which helps officers review participation without reconstructing it from chat messages or a paper sign-in sheet. Officers are exempt from the ordinary member attendance requirement; owners can also manage active status when earlier participation needs to be recognized.
Set up attendance with a plan and a schedule
Meeting attendance is available with Plus and Pro. Create the meeting with its correct start and end time and use the club’s time zone. If a meeting is rescheduled, update its details before asking members to check in. For clubs under an organization, reporting requirements and organization access follow the permissions and arrangement set for that club.
