Cookie Policy

1. Purpose and scope

This Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by ClubCircl, operated by Thompson Software Solutions in North Carolina, United States. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website. Local storage is another browser mechanism that can retain information between visits. Our consent controls refer to both when relevant; the technology’s label does not determine whether permission is required.

2. Necessary technologies

Necessary storage supports features you request, including maintaining a sign-in session, protecting authentication, and remembering your cookie preference. Supabase authentication may store session information in browser local storage under a project-specific key. This allows you to remain signed in and refresh an authorized session. Session information is sensitive and should not be shared. Signing out clears the active app session; using your browser’s site-data controls can remove stored local data.

Cloudflare security and Turnstile may process browser and network information to distinguish legitimate requests from abuse. These security functions operate when needed for authentication and service protection. Their behavior can depend on the security challenge and browser environment. We do not use security processing as a substitute for obtaining permission for advertising or optional analytics.

ClubCircl stores a cookie preference under clubcircl-cookie-choice-v1, containing the choice, policy version, and selection time. We request a fresh choice after approximately six months or an applicable change. The sample demo can store synthetic sample information under clubnest-sample-v1 when you use that demo. Live private club records are retrieved from the service and are not intentionally saved as a persistent local club-data cache.

3. Optional technologies and your choice

The current release does not load advertising cookies, behavioral tracking pixels, or optional analytics scripts. “Approve all cookies” records your willingness to allow optional categories described at the time of the choice; it does not cause unused tracking products to be installed. “Only necessary cookies” keeps nonessential categories disabled. Both choices permit the necessary functions needed to provide the service you request.

If optional technologies are introduced, we will identify their purpose and relevant providers, update this policy, and obtain a new choice when required before using them. A previously stored broad preference will not silently authorize an unrelated new processing purpose. We will not condition ordinary account access on accepting advertising trackers.

4. Changing preferences and browser controls

Select Cookie preferences in the footer to reopen the controls. You can select Only necessary cookies after previously approving all cookies. Your preference applies to the current browser and device; another browser may require a separate choice. If browser storage is blocked or cleared, we may need to ask again.

Your browser can also block or remove cookies and local storage. Blocking all storage may prevent sign-in or cause security checks to repeat. Private browsing can discard your choice when the session ends. Browser controls affect the browser, not account information already stored by the service. To delete account information, use the account deletion controls or contact us about your privacy rights.

5. External websites and contact

When you deliberately open an external payment page or another website, that website controls its own cookies and privacy settings. ClubCircl’s choice does not configure an external provider’s website. We do not load a payment provider’s card-entry form within club content. Review the provider’s notice before entering payment information.
